What is PicaBot and who can use it? +
PicaBot is a comprehensive photobooth software solution designed for event planners, photographers, businesses, and individuals who want to operate photobooths. Users must be 18 years or older to create accounts. We offer both free and premium versions with various features to suit different needs.
What's the difference between Free and Pro versions? +
FREE VERSION: Basic photobooth functionality, photo capture and preview, basic image filters, limited template system, standard resolution support, and basic sharing options.

PRO VERSION: Includes everything in Free plus payment processing, advanced sharing customization, high-quality image saving, QR code generation, coupon management, advanced analytics, and premium customer support.
What are the system requirements? +
Minimum requirements:
• Windows 10 or later
• .NET 8.0 runtime
• 4GB RAM (8GB recommended)
• DirectShow-compatible camera
• Internet connection for updates and Pro features
How does payment processing work? +
PicaBot supports multiple payment gateways including Razorpay, Stripe, PayPal, and Square. Users configure their own merchant accounts and payment gateway credentials. We facilitate but don't directly process payments - all transactions are between users and their customers.
How long do you keep photos uploaded for QR codes? +
Photos are retained for 30 days for both Free and Pro users. Photos are automatically deleted after the retention period for storage management. Users can request early deletion by contacting our support team.
Can I cancel my subscription anytime? +
Yes, you can cancel your subscription at any time through your account dashboard. Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. Generally, no refunds are provided for unused time, except in exceptional circumstances or as required by law.
Why isn't my camera working? +
Common solutions:
• Ensure camera is connected and recognized by Windows
• Check camera permissions in Windows Settings
• Try different USB ports or cables
• Update camera drivers
• Restart the software and try again
If issues persist, contact our support team.
Can I use PicaBot for commercial purposes? +
Yes, both free and paid versions can be used for commercial photobooth operations. However, you cannot resell or redistribute the software itself. You're responsible for obtaining all necessary business permits, licenses, and insurance for your photobooth business.
